The ECRA value-added growth model is an analytical approach to quantify the impact of teachers, programs, administrators, and other school structures and interventions on student achievement. ECRA's Value-Added Growth Model is designed to support your current student achievement measurement and performance evaluation systems. The model is locally-focused and can be used with existing evaluation programming to provide a comprehensive analysis of school or district performance. ECRA’s analytical framework is based on the latest research and best practices in educational measurement, and the model meets U.S. Department of Education criteria for new evaluation systems.
By analyzing multiple years of local student achievement data, ECRA will develop a custom value-added growth model that districts can use to:
- Set individual student growth targets
- Incorporate student achievement into administrator and teacher evaluations
- Document return on investment for programs
- Support leadership and board governance
